On October 4, 2010, Consumer Law Group commenced a class action against Fisher-Price and Mattel for persons who own a Trike, Rampway, Infant Toy with an Inflatable Ball, or High Chair which were to a recalled on September 29th and 30th 2010.
On January 19, 2015, the parties reached a proposed national settlement. A copy of the settlement agreement is available here:

Motions to approve the Settlement have been scheduled to be heard by the Ontario Superior Court of Justice in the City of Toronto on September 16, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. and by the Superior Court of Quebec in the City of Montreal on October 12, 2016 at 9:30 a.m. in room 2.08.

CONSUMER LAW GROUP has launched a Canada-wide class action lawsuit against Fisher-Price and Mattel on behalf of individuals who own a Trike, Rampway, Infant Toy with an Inflatable Ball, or High Chair which were to a recalled on September 29th and 30th 2010.
The class action litigation involves inherent hidden defects which rendered these products unsafe for children and cause injuries such as cuts, bruises, bleeding, broken teeth and choking due to protruding objects (i.e. pegs, keys, wheels, and valves).

The class action lawsuit identifies the group of affected persons as:
o All residents in Canada:
a. who purchased and/or otherwise acquired a Trike, Rampway, Infant Toy with an Inflatable Ball, and/or High Chair which were subject to a recall on September 29th and 30th 2010 (the “Recalled Child Products”)
and/or
b. who are the parents and/or legal guardians of minor children that have used and/or been injured by a Trike, Rampway, Infant Toy with an Inflatable Ball, and/or High Chair which were subject to a recall on September 29th and 30th 2010 (the “Recalled Child Products”),
or any other group to be determined by the Court.
