On November 30, 2009, Consumer Law Group commenced a class action against Toyota on behalf of individuals who own or lease a Toyota or Lexus vehicle equipped with Electronic Throttle Control System with Intelligence (“ETCS-i”).
On August 6, 2013, the parties reached a proposed national settlement. A copy of the settlement agreement is available here:

On November 22, 2013, the Superior Court of Quebec scheduled a motion for authorization of the action as a class action and approval of the settlement agreement for February 3, 2014 at 9:30 AM in room 2.08 at the Montreal Court House located at 1, Notre-Dame St. East, Montreal, Quebec.

CONSUMER LAW GROUP has launched a Canada-wide class action lawsuit against Toyota on behalf of individuals who own or lease a Toyota or Lexus vehicle equipped with Electronic Throttle Control System with Intelligence (“ETCS-i”).

The class action lawsuit identifies the group of affected persons as:
o all residents in Canada who own, lease, or otherwise possess Toyota and/or Lexus vehicles equipped with Electronic Throttle Control System with Intelligence (“ETCS-i”), or any other group to be determined by the Court;
